Polls Predict a Two-Way Race for Both Men's and Women's Titles
South Dakota State University (SDSU) and North Dakota State University (NDSU) are the early favorites to win the 2024 Summit League Cross Country Championships, according to a preseason poll of the league's coaches.
SDSU's men's team received eight of the nine first-place votes to earn the top spot in the poll, while NDSU's women's team was a unanimous choice to win the women's title.
SDSU Men's Team Preview
The Jackrabbits return four of their top five finishers from last year's team, including All-American Isaac Hanson.
Hanson, a junior, finished 10th at the NCAA Championships last year and is the favorite to win the individual title at the Summit League Championships.
NDSU Women's Team Preview
The Bison return all five of their top finishers from last year's team, including All-American Abby Diekman.
Diekman, a senior, finished 12th at the NCAA Championships last year and is the favorite to win the individual title at the Summit League Championships.
